Straight to 100!
We are starting on the path to a holistic circular economy with the Scrubmaster B25 – which is equipped with a solution and recovery tank made from 100 % recycled plastic. To ensure our renowned Hako quality, we only use our internal industrial recyclate. By reusing rejects and offcuts to produce the recyclate tanks, we close the internal cycles. A controlled process of sorting, shredding and processing the PE material enables us to ensure identical quality compared to virgin material. A difference can only be seen if you look very closely, due to different coloured particles appearing from time to time.
100 % performance, 0 emissions
Zero emissions and electromobility are important topics for the future – also in Municipal Technology. Hako is turning them into “ZE” and presenting the Citymaster 1650 ZE , the first fully electric compact sweeper with additional benefits in the 3.5-t class from Hako. With all-electric components, the Citymaster 1650 ZE makes municipal fleets climate-friendly and future-proof, because the machine delivers clean results with zero emissions. Noise and particulate emissions are also reduced to a minimum – while providing maximum efficiency, safety and comfort.
Because every drop counts
Only as much as necessary and as little as possible: that is our motto when it comes to the use of cleaning chemicals. Our environmentally and health-friendly cleaning agents are already optimised for our machines so that they achieve brilliant results even at low dosages. And our dosing and filling systems also help to ensure that our scrubber-driers are environmentally friendly, time-saving and economical in use.
Our goal: enabling a sustainable and circular future
The core idea of sustainable product development is to further develop the principle of the circular economy in order to protect resources, people and the environment. We have already achieved a great deal, particularly in the areas of durability and reparability.
But we still have a lot to do:
- Increasing the proportion of recycled material in our products
- Determining a CO2 footprint for our products
- Creating guidelines for sustainable product development
- Reducing the energy and water consumption of our machines
- The new development of our Sweepmaster models 100% electrified
We are continuously progressing along this path. Our first milestone: since July 2024, the Scrubmaster B25 has been equipped with a solution and recovery tank made from 100 % recycled plastic!
